Vanessa Kerrutt was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida. She is an only child of a loving family. Her hobbies include music, softball and reading. She is organized and passionate in any challenge that comes her way. She’s always interested in what’s going on in the world and everyday life.
Vanessa started her interest in production when she picked up her first video camera in middle school. She filmed her and her friends in short skits. In high school, she participated in TV production for 4 years. UPC TV at Countryside High School provided hands-on experience of a live news show. She spent most of her time in the control room as switcher, audio or teleprompter. After producing and being apart of a morning show everyday; she discovered that this is the professional career for her.
Through the program, she learned basic skills and new technology. Currently, Vanessa is working towards her Bachelors degree in Mass Communication with focus in Telecommunication production. As a student, She works hard living away from home with a part-time job as a receptionist. The 22-year-old likes to edit, dance and take photos outside from school and work.
