Tampa, FLA (November 22, 2010)- The holidays and the New Year are sneaking up around the corner and so are gas prices in the Tampa Bay area. According to AAA, gas prices plan to reach about three dollars a gallon by the New Year. With the holiday season here, locals are not looking forward to an increase.

Tampa, FLA( November 14th, 2010)—Last Sunday night, the Crowbar in Ybor City hosted a one of kind event for young people featuring a instrumental band from the UK. Bonobo, played a 7-piece band set with singer Andreya Triana rocked house with over 200 hundred people there.

Orlando, FLA (September 9, 2010)- International DJ, Exicison pays a visit to his fans at Bliss Ultra Lounge in Downtown Orlando. Jeff Abel closely listens to the next song and beat matches in order to blend the sounds without a person’s notice. The lounge packed out with kids between the ages of 18 and 30, making the night one to remember.

Tampa, FLA (November 26, 2010) – The Hayes Family celebrates and welcomes the public for their remembrance of the late Josephine Hayes at the Rivercrest Park. The reunion of the whole family rejoiced their great grandmother with food, music and others festivities that will become an annual event.

Tampa, FLA (November 30, 2010)- On the corner of Fowler Ave and Bruce B. Downs, Rick Hampton spends hours and hours in hopes to gather spare change to eat and sleep. Rick is part of the non-profit organization called HHH, Homeless Helping Homeless, where other homeless individuals provide shelter and food for anyone in a distress situation. The number is homeless people in Tampa is said to rise within the New Year. Rick has only been “homeless” for three years, because he does not have a birth certificate to gain residency and a job. With no family in Florida, Rick is forced to the streets to beg for money.

Tampa, FLA (October 8, 2010)- Some friends take off time on a beautiful Saturday afternoon to play tag football at Curtis Hixon Park before the park is transformed into a winter wonderland in Downtown Tampa. Jill, John and Stephanie manage to catch up some rays and exercise before the holiday weather comes.

Tampa, FLA (November 30, 2010)- Fellow USF student, Devin Spears takes time of his classes to gaze upon the work of Carlos Caraicoa at the Contemporary Art Museum on campus. Carlos Caraicoa’s art consists of drawings, photography, sculptures and large-scale architectures inspired by his native land Havana, Cuba. His exhibition was brought to USF by popularity in fine arts.

Tampa, FLA (Novemeber 28, 2010)- Jamie Lumberson, a receptionist at Vector Marketing, makes ends meet as a Business Marketing major at USF. She feels her job is a lie to her career path, apparently the company is known for being a scam for money. She plans to quit once she graduates this December and bring down Vector to justice one day.

Tampa, FLA (December 2, 2010)- Hula Hoop go-go dancer, Lizz Sparkle is in caught in action of her signature move, Isolation Jump, at the nightclub Fusion in Ybor City. Sparkle is a advocate for hula hoopers, making LED hoops and dancer rave clothes for anyone interested. “Dancing is my connection with music and I get a workout every night,” she said.

Tampa, FLA (November 22, 2010)- On the corner of Fletcher Ave and 12th St, Wilcox Construction tears up the ground and pipes of the Shell gas station in order to change the tanks of the gas pumps. Store owner, Adam Musuad claims the construction has affected his business and revenue.
